history of the
palace in Krobielowice is
extremely rich. Already in
the fourteenth century in the site of
the present building a tower was located. The first owners of the object were successively Heinrich von Sitten,
Optzkone and Andreas Rügler. During the secularization
of religious goods, the
palace was confiscated by the King of
Prussia, who then gave it to Field-Marshal
G.L. von Blücher . The palace was the reward for victory over Napoleon in
the Battle of Waterloo. After the
death, Marshal was buried in the
mausoleum near the village. The building was owned by the Blücher family till the end of World War II. Later the palace was nationalized
and then bought by Chris Vaile - descendant
of the English part of the
Marshal Blücher family. The
descendant, who came from New Zealand, had heard about a beautiful palace from his great-grandmother, who told amazing stories.
New Zealander, bought the palace from the municipality of Katy Wrocławskie. Currently in the renovated facility, a hotel and a restaurant are located. Around the palace golf courses stretch.
